Brush Sanding
Brush Sanding
QuickWood is probably best know for its brush sanding strips, where the abrasives can be removed and the brush can stay and be used again. QuickWood was first on the market with a brush sanding system in 1990 with the QuickFlex system, the system is still around today where the brush and abrasives are mounted together and both parts are discarded when the sand paper is worn down. Well in 2006 QuickWood patented a new solution that would keep the brush in place and only the abrasive would have to be replace. This leap would lead to much lower replacement cost for the big sanding machines and also to the invention of brush sanding using two different grits for a coarse sanding and a fine sanding. The video’s below will explain the system in more detail.
