QuickWood Celebrates 30 Years with new Product Releases

By admin • November 19th, 2008

In 2005 QuickWood celebrated their 30th year doing business as a global supplier of denibbing and finish sanding equipment. Sand-Tech has been the exclusive North American distributor for QuickWood for over 13 years. We have a long and stable history together as the industry leader for this type of equipment.

Yes we have competition. Competition does not cause worry as we know our customers, our equipment, and our industry. As a result of some of the new competitors in this business, QuickWood has now spent millions of dollars developing the new Elite series of sanding equipment, and the revolutionary QuickStrip abrasive system. Our equipment has gotten better with new features and functions being incorporated while continuing to use the tried and true rotary configuration.

The Elite series of sanders use the same rotary configuration as the PRO series but has incorporated new features and functions not previously available. Some of these new features include; color touch screen control for simplistic operation, programmable presets for standardizing common line operations, 50 percent increase in vacuum hold down strength, reversible spindles for multiple grit sanding on a single machine without having to change heads.

The QuickStrip abrasive system eliminates the waste of parts that are used once and thrown away. Our hubs are virtually indestructible and are used indefinitely. As a general rule the brush backing is good for three to four paper changes. The abrasive paper itself is good for approximately 1000 sanding hours.

When making a purchasing decision that will impact plant operations for years to come, it is important to know you are doing business with a company that not only stands behind its products today, but will also be here to stand behind their products tomorrow. Our dedicated staff has a combined total of over 48 years experience in the denibbing and finish sanding business. We do not represent manufacturers other than QuickWood for a reason. They are not needed. QuickWood is by far the best and most reliable equipment available today.
